ABSTRACT

National governments around the world have made every effort to fight Covid-19. One of which is by building mobile applications that can be used to trace and monitor the citizens' health during this pandemic. These applications are expensive. It requires a significant amount of time and effort to develop and maintain the information systems. Therefore, there is a continuous struggle to identify the key factors influencing the information systems' adoption, utilization, and success. This study was performed to address the problem by identifying parameters that affect the information system success of "10 Rumah Aman (10 Safe Houses)", a community-based application in fighting the Covid-19 pandemic, using the DeLone and McLean (D&M) model. As a result, system quality positively affected the use and user satisfaction. Furthermore, service quality positively influenced use but not user satisfaction. Meanwhile, information quality had no significant effect either on use or satisfaction. Both use and user satisfaction had a significant effect on net benefits. © 2021 ACM.

ABSTRACT

Innovation in learning is a necessity for environmental learning in 21st century especially during the new normal era of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). One of important skills to address disaster mitigation issue is Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) that can be trained using the Innovation Learning Model for Natural Science and Environmental Learning (ILMIZI) model regarding e-learning. This research aims to measure HOTS and descriptively analyse the e-learning and ILMIZI model. The research method is descriptive with survey as the data collection technique. The total sample size of this research were 176 students divided into 105 diploma students and 71 undergraduate students. The results show a very low HOTS score of students at the diploma (30.98) and undergraduate (32.02) level regarding disaster mitigation concepts. This study also considered the dominant use of Power Point file (41.38%), distractions in e-learning related to phone signals (44.83%), and the study discovered that majority of students feel more independent in learning (62.07%). The descriptive analysis indicates that the ILMIZI model is compatible for use in environmental learning concerning disaster mitigation. It is the finding of this research that student’s HOTS scores are still low;the implementation of e-learning programmes faces some obstacles;and the ILMIZI model is suitable for environmental learning as a means of disaster mitigation. © 2021, Journal of Sustainability Science and Management. ABSTRACT

This study aims to analyze the important role of business analytics capability, information quality, and innovation capability in influencing organization agility and organization performance during the Covid-19 pandemic. Data was collected from 76 companies from various sectors in Indonesia. Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) analysis was conducted to analyze the relationship between variables and test a series of hypotheses. Importance-Performance Matrix Analysis (IPMA), a useful analysis approach in PLS-SEM, is used, which extends the results of the estimated path coefficient (importance) by adding a dimension that considers the average values of the latent variable scores (performance). The IPMA approach examines not only the performance of an item but also the importance of that item. The results show that business analytics capability has a significant effect on information quality and innovation capability which then affects organization agility. Organizational performance is influenced by organizational agility. IPMA results show that organizational agility has the highest level of impact on organizational performance. This study will assist companies in planning business analytics, improving information quality, increasing innovation capability, and ultimately increasing agility and performance during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study will add to existing knowledge about previous literature, especially in the Covid-19 pandemic situation.

ABSTRACT

The social distancing appeal that the government encourages is not matched by the state's efforts to provide economic security to the community. PSBB will directly or indirectly limit the movement of the community. The teaching and learning process at schools and residents who work will be limited to working or studying at home. This limitation of activities in public spaces will have an impact on people's income, especially those in the middle to lower economy. The implementation of social distancing during the Covid-19 outbreak has increased the risk of violence against women, complicates women's economic conditions, and affirms women's social status as subordinate, or women are in a lower position than men. The formulation of the problem in this research is what is the cause of domestic violence during the covid-19 period in Indonesia, what are the prevention efforts against domestic violence during the covid-19 period. Causes of Domestic Violence During the Covid-19 Period, namely the government's appeal to the community "at home alone", causing a separate polemic for women and children, especially those who experience economic and psychological pressure at home from extraordinary isolation measures, has prompted increasing instances of reports of domestic violence, especially women who are forced to live for months in abusive relationships. causes and consequences of violence and to prevent the occurrence of violence through primary prevention programs, policy intervention and advocacy as well as information programs and supporting initiatives through all mass media TV, social networks, cell phones. © 2021 Lifescience Global.

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study was to identify the constraints of the online teaching and learning process at home as a result of the unprecedented situation with the pandemic COVID-19. The study used an exploratory case study, and for the research approach, a qualitative case study method was used to obtain information about the constraints and consequences of the pandemic COVID-19 on teaching and learning activities in primary schools. In this study, the respondents were 15 teachers and parents of two primary schools in Tangerang, Indonesia. A list of semi-structured interview questions was developed based on the related literature and was used to collect in-depth information from the respondents. The findings of this research revealed some challenges and constraints experienced by students, teachers, and parents in online learning. The challenges related to students were: limited communication and socializing among students, a higher challenge for students with special education needs, and longer screen time. Parents saw the problem was more related to a lack of learning discipline at home, more time spent to assist their children's learning at home-especially for children below Grade 4 in Primary School, a lack of technology skills, and higher internet bills. Teachers identified more challenges and constraints, including some restrictions in the choices of teaching methods normally applicable in a regular face-to-face class, less coverage of curriculum content, lack of technology skills that hinder the potential of online learning, the lacks of e-resources in Indonesian language resulting in more time needed to develop e-contents, longer screen time as a result of e-content creating and giving feedback on students' work, more intense and time-consuming communication with parents, the challenge for better coordination with colleague teachers, principals, and a higher internet bill. © 2020 SERSC.
